Downtown Rehoboth boasts a multitude of unique shops and boutiques - be sure to stroll the streets that run parallel to Rehoboth Avenue too - as well as numerous yummy eateries. Find more information about shopping and dining in Rehoboth Beach on the Chamber of Commerce website and Rehoboth Beach Main Street website. Just north of the city limits on Route 1 are three Tanger Outlets shopping centers.
Particularly in season, you also can find a bit of night life in Rehoboth Beach. Several restaurants and clubs offer cocktails, live entertainment, and music and dancing.
Go Natural
Cape Henlopen State Park and Delaware Seashore State Park are both nearby and, between the two, offer hiking/biking trails, fishing, bird-watching, and beach access. Be sure to check out the city's parks and recreational facilities too, which provide playgrounds, natural areas to relax or take a walk, tennis/pickleball courts, pavilions available for rent, and more.

Rehoboth Beach is proud to be a bicycle-friendly community and fortunate to have accessibility to some of the region's loveliest bike trails. Enjoy a bike ride along the hardwood and pine forests, open fields, and costal marshes of the Junction Breakwater Trail and/or through the trails at Cape Henlopen State Park. The Georgetown-Lewes Trail also connects to the Junction Breakwater. Don your helmet and check out the city's bicycle guidelines before heading out.

A variety of public and private golf courses are just minutes away. If you're more into a short game, check out one of the Rehoboth area's several miniature golf courses.

The Grove Park Canal Dock provides launch space for kayaks and two public boat slips that may be used briefly to load/unload passengers and supplies. Beginning in spring 2022, the city will contract with private vendors to provide water taxi/tour services and recreational watercraft rentals from the dock.
Dive into History
Located at 511 Rehoboth Avenue near the traffic circle, the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society and Museum brings the city's history to life with exhibits, artifacts, events, and programming.
A part of Cape Henlopen State Park, the Fort Miles Museum and Historical Area encompasses a gun battery, six barracks buildings, a fire control tower, orientation building, and artillery park. The fort was built during World War II to protect the Delaware Bay and River from enemy warships.

The Anna Hazzard Museum at 17 Christian Street, houses a collection of artifacts and memorabilia related to the early days of Rehoboth Beach as a religious retreat.
Along the boardwalk, at Olive Avenue, a monument honors the voyage of Italian Explorer Giovanni da Verazzano. Traveling in a small ship, the Dauphine, in 1524, Verazzano explored coastal areas from present-day North Carolina to Canada, observing the natural abundance of the land and the vibrant culture of its native peoples. His voyage is the earliest documented European exploration of this part of the Atlantic Coast.

The Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market is open at Grove Park from 10am-2 pm every Tuesday May-October, rain or shine. Vendors provide fresh, in-season produce as well as baked goods, jams and jellies, handcrafts, flowers, prepared foods, herbs, meats, and more.

The Rehoboth Beach Public Library, at 226 Rehoboth Avenue, loans materials to visitors and non-residents for a limited time and a small fee. Information about library services, events, policies, and hours of operation can be found on its website.
Rehoboth Beach City Hall and Convention Center
Rehoboth Beach City Hall is located at 229 Rehoboth Avenue. Business hours are 8:30 am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. From the first Saturday in June through the first Saturday in August, City Hall also is open from 8:30 am-noon. To contact city offices, call 302-227-6181.
The Rehoboth Beach Convention Center is located behind City Hall. The convention center is available for rent and plays host to various events.
Beach, Boardwalk, and Bandstand

Of course, the main attraction is Rehoboth's nearly two-mile stretch of beach and its mile-long boardwalk lined with attractions, family entertainment venues, stores, and good eats. The Rehoboth Beach Patrol is located at 1 Baltimore Avenue.
The iconic bandstand is a live entertainment venue at the end of Rehoboth Avenue. On weekend evenings throughout the season, the bandstand hosts the city's Summer Concert Series.
Public Restroom Locations
Public restrooms are conveniently located throughout town, including at City Hall and at Baltimore, Rehoboth, and Delaware avenues along the boardwalk.
