The City of Rehoboth Beach Recreation Department offers people of all ages opportunities to play, create, move, wonder, and learn this summer.
From 9-10 am Mondays and Wednesdays through August 24, children ages 2-12 can enjoy an assortment of arts and crafts activities at Grove Park. Please note that craft materials are limited and available on a first-come basis.
People of all ages can join the Grove Park Walking and Jogging Club for some calorie-burning activity from 6-7 pm Tuesdays through August 23.
On Thursdays this summer, a variety of activities, including magic shows, kite-making, environmental education opportunities, and story time yoga, will be offered either at Grove Park or Stockley Park. All of the activities noted above are free and open to the public. In addition, the city’s tennis and pickleball courts at Deauville Beach are available on a rental basis during the season. Visit mindbodyonline.com to make reservations. Two beach volleyball courts are available at Hickman Street from sunrise to sunset on a first-come basis.
