The City of Rehoboth Beach will resume in-person public meetings beginning Tuesday, March 15. All city commissions, boards, committees, and task force members will meet in person, and meetings will be open to in-person attendance by residents and other stakeholders as well.
City Manager Sharon Lynn says that she is comfortable returning to in-person meetings due to the downturn in positive covid cases and the rising percentage of those receiving vaccinations.
Lynn also announced that beginning Monday, March 14, only employees and members of the public who are not vaccinated will be required to wear a mask when inside city buildings or vehicles.
City of Rehoboth Beach public meetings will continue to be livestreamed via the Legislative Portal on the city’s website.
“We’ll remain vigilant in following covid-related data for our region and will reimplement safety measures if necessary, but I’m hopeful that this is the start of a productive, positive time for all of us,” Lynn says.
