The Commissioners of Rehoboth Beach will hold a Virtual Workshop Meeting on Monday, March 8, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.

A. Report from Streets & Transportation Committee including, but not limited to, discussion of the use of sharrows on City streets to enhance bicyclist safety.

A. Discuss a proposed ordinance to amend Sections 92-69 and 92-73 of the City of Rehoboth Beach Municipal Code establishing the Grove Park parking lot as a twelve-hour meter zone, including considering parking meter fee exemptions for various non-profit organizations.
B. Discuss a proposed ordinance to amend the City of Rehoboth Beach Municipal Code by requiring applications to the City to be in digital format, including Sections 230-3 (Special Event), 230-12 (Expressive Activity), 236-8 (Subdivision Approval Procedure), 236-9 (Partitioning), 236-10 (Minor Subdivision), 236-32 (Site Plan Review, 253-36 (Appeal to Parks & Shade Tree Commission), 270-28(B) (Administrative Variance), 270-73 (Board of Adjustment Application) and 270-82 (Building Permit).
8. New Business
A. Discussion of draft agreement between the City of Rehoboth Beach and Oyster House Village, a new proposed land development plan in Sussex County, for the City to provide water service to the project.
B. Discuss nomination to fill vacant seat on the Planning Commission.
C. Discuss request by the Farmers' Market to increase the number of vendors allowed currently by Code from 25 to 38 and including overall review of Chapter 148 - Farmers' Market.

- MEETING INSTRUCTIONS -
The Board of Commissioners is holding this meeting under the authority issued by Governor John C. Carney through Proclamation No. 17-3292.(1) The meeting will be conducted using video-conference technology.
Members of the public wishing to speak will be required to pre-register with Ann Womack, City Secretary, at [email protected] at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting.
Citizen comments will be administered by a moderator to ensure everyone has an opportunity to comment. You will not be able to speak until called upon by the moderator.
Registered members of the public joining the meeting on the phone or by computer will be provided an opportunity to make comments. Citizen comments regarding New Business will be heard during each agenda item after discussion by the Board of Commissioners or at the discretion of the Chair. Speakers shall state their name and address. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes or at the discretion of the Chair. Comments on non-agenda items will be head under "Citizen Comment".
Public presentations are not allowed without the prior approval of the Mayor.
The City will stream this meeting using the same technology it uses during its chamber broadcast that can be viewed on the City portal at /Portal/ or YouTube. This stream will broadcast the meeting, the public will not be able to comment or speak using this broadcast. This stream will experience a 30-second delay.
The Board of Commissioners meeting materials, including the "packet", are electronically accessible on the City's portal at /Portal/.
