THE COMMISSIONERS OF REHOBOTH BEACH will hold a virtual special meeting on Friday, February 12, 2021, at 10 a.m.
AGENDA
PLEASE NOTE - AS PERMITTED BY GUBERNATORIAL AUTHORITY, IN ORDER TO LIMIT THE RISK OF POTENTIAL COVID-19 EXPOSURE, THE PUBLIC SHALL BE DENIED ENTRY TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING.(1) THE PUBLIC IS ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING ELECTRONICALLY. FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS ARE LISTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS AGENDA.

3. The purpose of this Special Meeting is for:
A. Additional discussion on and consider formation of a Wilmington/Baltimore Avenue Streetscape Task Force.
B. Discuss additional policies with respect to Commission, Board and Committee meetings including, but not limited to:
1. Expectations for conducting virtual meetings
Participation via video has priority over phone
Duration of meetings for committees limited to one hour once a month
Sign into meeting a sufficient time in advance of the meetings for audio check
"Proper" behaviors during meetings
2. Timeframe for creation of and consideration of minutes for committees and task forces within two meeting cycles but strongly encouraged at one meeting.
3. Review meeting document submission guidelines.
4. Adjournment

- MEETING INSTRUCTIONS -
**The Board of Commissioners is holding this meeting under the authority issued by Governor John C. Carney through Proclamation No. 17-3292.(1) The meeting will be conducted using video-conference technology.
Members of the public wishing to speak will be required to pre-register with Ann Womack, City Secretary, at [email protected] at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting.
Citizen comment will be administered by a moderator to ensure everyone has an opportunity to comment. You will not be able to speak until called upon by the moderator.
Registered members of the public joining the meeting on the phone or by computer will be provided an opportunity to make comments during the agenda items after discussion by the Board of Commissioners or at the discretion of the Chair and prior to any vote being taken. Speakers shall state their name and address. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes or at the discretion of the Chair.
The City will stream the public portion of this meeting using the same technology it uses during its chamber broadcast that can be viewed on the City portal at /Portal/ or YouTube. This stream will broadcast the meeting, the public will not be able to comment or speak using this broadcast. The stream will experience a 30-second delay.
The Board of Commissioners meeting materials, including the "packet", are electronically accessible on the City's portal at /Portal/.
If any member of the public would like to submit comments electronically, please feel free to send them to Ann Womack, City Secretary, at [email protected]. All comments shall be submitted at least two (2) full business days prior to the meeting date to allow for proper distribution.
