The Commissioners of Rehoboth Beach will hold a Virtual Workshop Meeting Monday, February 8, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.

A. Discuss expanding the requirement for submittal of digital copies of forms, plans and other submittals beyond the currently required digital copies for only Permit of Compliance submissions, by example to Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, Parks & Shade Tree Commission and building permit submissions.
B. Introductory discussion on development of rules & regulations related to the use of the new Grove Park Canal Dock.
C. Status report on the Wilmington/Baltimore Avenue Streetscape project and solicitation of task force members
D. Report of the Animal Issues Committee.
E. Presentation and discussion of Environment Committee recommendations 1) for the elimination of plastic straw use in establishments currently using plastic straws and 2) that all establishments display educational table placards to reduce use of straws.
F. Discuss a resolution authorizing the City Manager, Mayor and Vice-President to conduct financial transactions with Brighthouse Financial.
G. Discuss nomination for membership on the Parks & Shade Tree Commission.
H. Update on Lake Avenue Streetscape Phase Two project.

- MEETING INSTRUCTIONS -
**The Board of Commissioners is holding this meeting under the authority issued by Governor John C. Carney through Proclamation No. 17-3292.(1) The meeting will be conducted using video-conference technology.
Members of the public wishing to speak will be required to pre-register with Ann Womack, City Secretary, at [email protected] at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting.
Citizen comment will be administered by a moderator to ensure everyone has an opportunity to comment. You will not be able to speak until called upon by the moderator.
Registered members of the public joining the meeting on the phone or by computer will be provided an opportunity to make comments. Citizen comments regarding New Business will be heard during each agenda item after discussion by the Board of Commissioners or at the discretion of the Chair. Speakers shall state their name and address. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes or at the discretion of the Chair. Comments on non-agenda items will be heard under "Citizen Comment".
The City will stream this meeting using the same technology it uses during its chamber broadcast that can be viewed on the City portal at /Portal/ or YouTube. This stream will broadcast the meeting, the public will not be able to comment or speak using this broadcast. This stream will experience a 30-second delay.
The Board of Commissioners meeting materials, including the "packet", are electronically accessible on the City's portal at /Portal/.
