The Commissioners of Rehoboth Beach Virtual Regular Meeting will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 2 p.m.

A. Consider a resolution to set a public hearing on a draft ordinance amending Chapter 270 - Zoning of the City Code specific to amending the definition of Gross Floor Area in §270-4 - Definitions to clarify what areas are to be included and excluded from Gross Floor Area.

B. Consider a resolution to set a public hearing on a draft ordinance amending Chapter 270 - Zoning of the City Code specific to changing the definition of Gross Floor Area and adding a definition of Underground Parking Area in §270-4 - Definitions by addressing underground parking.

C. Consider a resolution to set a public hearing on a draft ordinance amending Chapter 270 - Zoning of the City Code specific to wireless communications facilities and final recommendations presented by the City Manager.

D. Consider a draft ordinance to amend Chapter 162 - Food and Food Establishment of the City Code, §162-38 to §162-42 - Grease Interceptors.

E. Consider a draft ordinance to amend Chapter 227 - Solid Waste of the City Code, §227-1 to §227-30 - Refuse Containers, Rules & Regulations, Sidewalks & Boardwalk, Garbage & Refuse Collection, Storage & Refuse and Discharging Human & Animal Waste.

F. Consider appointment of Monique Buckles to serve on the Environment Commitee as a voting member.

-  MEETING INSTRUCTIONS  -

**The Board of Commissioners is holding this meeting under the authority issued by Governor John C. Carney through Proclamation No. 17-3292.(1)  The meeting will be conducted using video-conference technology.

Members of the public wishing to speak will be required to pre-register with Ann Womack, City Secretary, at [email protected] at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting.

Citizen comment will be administered by a moderator to ensure everyone has an opportunity to comment.  You will not be able to speak until called upon by the moderator.

Registered members of the public joining the meeting on the phone or by computer will be provided an opportunity to make comments.  Citizen comments regarding Old Business, New Business and Committee Reports will be heard during each agenda item after discussion by the Board of Commissioners or at the discretion of the Chair and prior to any vote being taken.  Speakers shall state their name and address.  Comments are limited to three (3) minutes or at the discretion of the Chair.  Comments on non-agenda items will be heard under "Citizen Comment".

The City will stream this meeting using the same technology it uses for its chamber broadcast that can be viewed on the City portal at /Portal/ or YouTube.  This stream will broadcast the meeting, the public will not be able to comment or speak using this broadcast.  This stream will experience a 30-second delay.

The Board of Commissioners meeting materials, including the "packet", are electronically accessible on the City's portal at /Portal/.

If any member of the public would like to submit comments electronically, please feel free to send them to Ann Womack, City Secretary, at [email protected].  All comments shall be submitted at least two (2) full business days prior to the meeting date to allow for proper distribution.

(1) These restrictions are being implemented to limit the exposure and risk related to "COVID-19" for City personnel and members of the public who seek to attend the Board of Commissioners meeting.  The meeting protocol has been established pursuant to the authority issued by Governor John C. Carney through Proclamation No. 17-3292.
