Nighttime Openings of Lewes & Rehoboth Drawbridges for Testing
Traffic Information: DelDOT announces to motorists that their contractor is planning to perform nighttime testing of the drawbridges to ensure the new control system is working correctly. The testing involves the opening and closing of the bridges.
In between the bridge openings, traffic and pedestrians will be able to cross the bridges.
Week of July 20, 2020, pending weather.
Times and Dates: 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday evenings
Locations: Lewes Drawbridge over Lewes-Rehoboth Canal between Savannah Road and Anglers Road, Lewes.
Rehoboth Drawbridge over Lewes-Rehoboth Canal on Route 1A/Rehoboth Avenue between Canal Street and Atlantic Avenue, Rehoboth.
