Baby bird season is here! When young songbirds first leave their nest, they don’t fly very well, and they often hop around on the ground. This is perfectly normal, and their parents are nearby, keeping watch and feeding the young. However, it can look like the young bird is injured, and sometimes well-intentioned people remove healthy young fledglings from the wild and their parents. Don’t be a bird-napper! Consult this guide on when to intervene, and share it with your friends! Please visit tristatebird.org for more information.
