Employment Opportunity - Assistant Wastewater Superintendent

Supervises and assists in the operation of the Wastewater treatment facility and collection system. Monitors and controls all plant processes including pump flow rates, chemical feed rates, and biosolids inventory. Assists with data analysis, which determines plant operational strategies. Monitors, inspects, evaluates and takes corrective action as required in the event of process malfunctions or equipment breakdowns. Oversees operations of the Wastewater facility in the absence of the Wastewater Superintendent.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

A high school diploma (or GED equivalent)

At least three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience

Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities

Licenses or Certifications

Possession of a Level IV State of Delaware Wastewater Operator License

Possession of a standard driver license
