The Commissioners Workshop Meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 10, 2018, at 9 a.m. in the City Hall Commissioners Room on the second floor. The meeting agenda includes:
City Manager acknowledgment of the Delaware Contractors' Association Construction Excellence Program awarded to Corrado Construction Company for their work related to the City of Rehoboth Beach City Hall Construction Project.
Presentation by Tony Pratt, previously with DNREC and presently consultant representing the Association of Coastal Towns (Rehoboth Beach a Member), in issues involving beach replenishment, inland water dredging, etc.
Presentation concerning new proposal from Jolly Trolley about future possibilities within the City.
New Business:
A. Discuss a draft ordinance to amend Chapter 102 of the City Code related to adopting the 2018 versions of various codes as written by the International Code Council in lieu of the 2012 versions which are currently contained in the City Code.
B. Discussion of suggested amendments to the City's Personnel Ordinance.
C. Discussion to consolidate business license categories and amend City Code, Chapter 120 - Businesses.
D. Discuss proposed rate adjustments for the Convention Center, ideas on tourism and short and long-term funding.
