Bridge Inspection on Rehoboth Avenue

WHEN:  9 AM until 3 PM on Tuesday, October 16, 2018

WHERE:  Bridge over Lewes-Rehoboth Canal on Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth.

WHAT:  DelDOT’s contractor, Pennoni will be inspecting the bridge over Lewes-Rehoboth Canal on Rehoboth Avenue. The inspectors will be utilizing multiple short duration bridge openings throughout the day to complete inspections in areas only accessible while the bridge is open.  It is anticipated that two to three openings will be required. 

Motorists and pedestrians should expect delays when traveling in this area. Rehoboth Avenue will remain open with no restrictions between the bridge openings. Vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be allowed to clear prior to beginning a new bridge opening.
