US Air Force Band Max Impact

Max Impact is the premier rock band of the United States Air Force. Stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., it is one of six musical ensembles that comprise The U.S. Air Force Band. This six-piece band performs classic and current rock and country hits, as well as patriotic favorites and original music. Through national tours, local performances and digital audio and video recordings, Max Impact showcases Air Force excellence to millions each year. Back at home, they support events for the White House, State Department, Department of Defense and numerous other high-level military and civilian functions, using music to advance international diplomacy with America’s allies and strategic partners.

In addition to entertaining military and civilian audiences in the United States, Max Impact thrills service members with its trademark high-intensity, hard-rocking vivacity and musical versatility at forward deployed locations. These performances are a much-needed “taste of home” that bolster troop morale and esprit de corps for remotely stationed military members. Additionally, the band supports the Air Force and its local communities by creating innovative projects and performances, capitalizing on the latest in multimedia and technological advances in music production. At home or abroad, their high-energy performances assist in enhancing troop morale, building partnerships with local, national and international communities, increasing recruiting and retention efforts and inspiring patriotism using effective and powerful music.

As part of The U.S. Air Force Band, Max Impact honors those who have served, inspires American citizens to heightened patriotism and service, and positively impacts the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States. The excellence demonstrated by these Airmen musicians is a reflection of the excellence displayed by Airmen stationed around the globe. Each member is proud to represent all Airmen, whose selfless service and sacrifices ensure the freedoms we enjoy as citizens of the United States of America.

Mike Hines & the Look

Mike Hines, also known as Mike Hines and The Look, is a high energy dance band that plays r&b, hip hop, pop, old school funk; along with a small taste of motown and disco. They’re a 6 piece band that always gets the crowd involved and performs like there’s no tomorrow. They’re the ultimate party band and when they play, nobody sits down.

Mike has been a featured vocalist in several bands on the east and west coast and has opened for acts such as The Ohio Players, Atlantic Star, Taylor Dayne, Chris Rock, Al B. Sure, Lisa, Lisa and Naughty by Nature. Most of his success came with Mike Hines and The Look in Delaware, where they had Bud Lite sponsorship and won many awards and honors. Mike has performed for a variety of events including, clubs, concerts, weddings, corporate parties and conventions. His performances have taken him to many major metropolitan areas such as Philadelphia, Atlantic City, New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Now that Mike is back residing in Delaware, Mike Hines and The Look is going stronger than ever and has developed a following from several generations.

Mike Hines is a consummate showman who sings and dances with energy, style and finesse. He has an amazing charismatic personality on and off stage and displays a top notch work ethic. An evening of entertainment with Mike Hines and his band is an exciting experience not to be missed.

The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand is a music and entertainment venue located in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series takes place every year from mid-June through Labor Day Weekend and has been providing FREE entertainment for Rehoboth Beach and its visitors since 1963! Each year, over 40 bands are selected to perform in an open-air concert venue just steps from the beach. The goal of the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand is to provide entertainment through music, movies, variety acts, and other local, regional, and national performances.

All performances begin at 8 pm, Friday-Sunday (unless otherwise noted).  All concerts are sponsored by the City of Rehoboth Beach or individual sponsors.
