Streets Department
The City of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will accept applications for seasonal (April - October) Streets Department laborers. Positions will require shifts and weekends. All applicants require a background and drug test. The position requires semi-skilled and manual labor to include the operation of trash trucks, pickups and other equipment to clean and maintain municipal streets, bathrooms, beaches and other public areas. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; work outside for extended periods with exposure to heat, noise, odors, and inclement weather conditions. Must be at least 18 years of age with a vocational school, high school, GED diploma or equivalent work experience. Starting wage is $13.72 an hour.
Landscape/Lawn Care workers
The City of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will accept applications for seasonal (March - October) landscape/lawn care workers. Workers perform a variety of outdoor tasks to maintain city parks, landscaping, trails, and open spaces. Duties include turf and tree care, landscape maintenance, mowing, planting, and other related tasks. Positions available immediately. Minimum Qualifications: Valid driver's license, ability to perform labor tasks in all weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in landscape maintenance, ability to use and maintain small power equipment and ability to drive trailer. Starting wage is $12.39 an hour.
