Henlopen Avenue & St. Michaels Place Water Shut Off Jan. 22

The Water Department is scheduled to work Monday, January 22, at the intersection of Easton Street/St. Michaels Place. The water is scheduled to be shut off on Henlopen Avenue and St. Michaels Place on Monday beginning at 9 am, and is expected to be off for four to five hours. This shut off is necessary to tie in the old water main with the new water main. The road will be closed in the work zone, and access will be for local traffic only. Driveway access and on-street parking will be restricted in this area. Once the new water main is completely installed on Henlopen Avenue, the crew will connect the new water main to the existing water line at your property. During this work, the water to your residence will be temporarily shut off. All work is weather dependent.
