The Rehoboth Bandstand is proud to present The Dovells in concert at the Bandstand on Saturday, July 22, 2017. This free concert begins at 8:00 p.m. “I’m very excited to bring this group to Rehoboth Beach. The Dovells are an excellent group that has a long history of musical entertainment, and we know that their unique blend of music and comedy is sure to please any audience," said Program Director Corey Groll.

They were known as the dance craze group of the decade. The Dovells transformed themselves from just a recording group to a top musical comedy act performing in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and around the country at some of the top night clubs. The Dovells hit records include The New Continental, Bristol Stomp, Hully Gully Baby, Bristol Twistin' Annie, You Can't Sit Down and Here Come The Judge. Band members Jerry Gross and Mark Stevens continue to perform nationally and internationally at concerts, night clubs and corporate events, including the 1993 inaugural ball and other presidential events with President Bill Clinton.
