Sealed BIDS, in duplicate, will be received by the City of Rehoboth Beach at 229 Rehoboth A venue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971 for the Lake Drive Sewer Project, Contract No. 675A002.012. Bids will be accepted by the City of Rehoboth until 11:00 AM on Friday February 20, 2015, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud.
Work will include the construction of 575 feet of 8" PVC Gravity Sewer including manholes, laterals and cleanouts, 1,075 feet of 8" watermain including valves, fire hydrants and water services, and restoration including pavement mill and overlay, sidewalk and curb restorations and seeding. Construction will include dewatering, temporary traffic control, and Sediment and Erosion Control. The project duration shall be 90 days.
Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS can be examined at Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. at One Plaza East, Suite 200, Salisbury, Maryland 21801 and the City of Rehoboth Beach at 229 Rehoboth A venue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971.
Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., One Plaza East, Suite 200, P.O. Box 93, Salisbury, Maryland 21803 (410) 543-9091 upon payment of $150.00 for each non-refundable set. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS are also available in electronic format upon payment of $75.00 for each CD-ROM, non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc.
The right is reserved as the interest of the City of Rehoboth may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid.
Interested BIDDERs may attend a pre-bid meeting to be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at l0:00 AM at the City of Rehoboth Beach at 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971.
