Virtual Public Meeting Registration

Nov 25, 2020

Mayor Stan Mills has reduced the deadline for registration to speak at virtual public meetings from two business days before the meeting to 24 hours. "I am pleased to reduce the deadline to the bare minimum in the hope that this encourages more members of the public to sign up to speak at virtual meetings," said Mayor Mills. "This change in registration deadline to speak at virtual meetings will apply to all Mayor and Commissioner meetings and also all Commission, Board, Committee, and Task Force meetings."

The logistics of allowing the public to speak at virtual meetings is more challenging than for face-to-face meetings. Still, the City continues to promote public input opportunities and wants registering to speak to be simple and with minimal time restraints.

You can easily access all information related to the Mayor and Commissioners meetings, boards and committees, through the CivicWeb Portal. The portal provides much-improved transparency and user-friendly access to information and records about meeting agendas, minutes, live stream and recorded videos, audio, ordinances, resolutions, and quick and easy access to complete agenda documents. E-Updates and notifications of newly posted agendas are also available if you subscribe. The portal ensures the important decisions made by the City are more easily accessible to the public. This automated web portal is linked to the City's website, ensuring everyone can receive timely updates from meetings 24/7. Visit cityofrehoboth.civicweb.net/portal/ to access the portal.
