Rehoboth Beach Patrol ends another successful season

The sunny, hot weather and beautiful beach drew record crowds this summer. Under the leadership of Capt. Kent Buckson, the lifeguards upheld the tradition of excellence in protecting beach users. Beach Patrol lifeguards handled many beach-related injuries and kept all the lifesaving equipment in top-notch condition. The Rehoboth Beach Patrol provides the highest degree of public safety to users of our beach. Rehoboth Beach lifeguards make every attempt to ensure that our beach patrons have a safe and enjoyable stay while visiting our beach. Beach Patrol was on duty May 27 through September 24. The summer of 2018 is a little over eight months away, and the Rehoboth Beach Patrol is looking forward to building on its reputation for excellence in beach protection.
