Rehoboth Beach Commissioners Deny BeachWalk Appeal

The Rehoboth Beach commissioners upheld the planning commission's decision that the proposed BeachWalk development constitutes a major subdivision by a 4-2 vote. The 63-unit development had been proposed as a condominium, but the planning commission asked BeachWalk developer Keith Monigle to file as a major subdivision. When Monigle refused, the planning commission declined to deliberate further. Monigle's attorney, Dennis Schrader, appealed the case to the city commissioners.
