Pickleball Court Lines Added to Deauville Beach Tennis Courts

It’s dubbed the fastest growing sport in America according to the USA Pickleball Association. The sport, created in the 1960s, combines the elements of badminton, tennis, and ping-pong. Recently, regulation pickleball lines were painted on two tennis courts at Deauville Beach. The courts are open seven days a week. Pickleball is available Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Tennis is available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The cost of both pickleball and tennis is $10 per hour. There is a two-hour reservation limit, and courts are held for ten minutes only.
