Invitation to Bid - Delaware Avenue Comfort Station Improvements Project

Sealed BIDS, in duplicate, will be received by the City of Rehoboth Beach, 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971 for the Delaware Avenue Comfort Station Improvements Project, Contract No. 2021-BG-001. Bids will be accepted by the City of Rehoboth Beach until 2:00 p.m., on November 10, 2020, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud.

The work generally consists of constructing, complete with all equipment and accessories, 360sf of exterior concrete decks and steps, a 250sf outbuilding with two (2) accessible bathrooms and utility room, 248sf of changing room outbuildings with a total of two (2) accessible stalls with benches and five (5) additional stalls with benches. Railings and handrails to match existing shall also be provided as required.

A PRE-BID meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m., on October 19, 2020, at the Delaware Avenue Comfort Station, Boardwalk, and Delaware Avenue; attendance is not mandatory but highly recommended.

The right is reserved as the interest of the City may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid.
