Intersection of Surf Avenue & Henlopen Avenue Road Closure

The intersection of Surf Avenue and Henlopen Avenue will be closed as part of the ongoing ocean outfall project. The contractor will close the intersection from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, January 25, and Friday, January 26. All traffic will be maintained around the construction zone. The contractor will utilize maintenance of traffic standards established by DelDOT for traffic control, including signage and protective barriers that will be set up to maintain public safety during construction. Traffic impacts will be minimized as much as possible, however, please plan for some delays and travel carefully around the work zone.
