Employment Opportunity - IT Support Technician

The City of Rehoboth Beach is currently seeking a full-time IT Support Technician for effective installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware, software, and related systems. The individual will be the primary point of contact for internal staff support issues and shall participate in a small team responsible for all technical, operational, and security issues concerning the City’s technology infrastructure and applications.

Minimum requirements; 1 to 3 years of related work experience, a high school diploma or GED equivalent, knowledge and experience of operating systems, software, hardware and networks. After hours support and other duties as assigned. Preferred Skills; Familiar managing mobile device fleets (phones, tablets, laptops). Familiar with Active Directory, Group Policy, RDS, DHCP, DNS.

A standard driver’s license is required. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test, a physical examination and background investigation. Competitive wage and benefit package.
