DART statewide bus services, both fixed route and paratransit, will not operate on Monday, September 3, 2018, with the exception of the Beach Bus services, its related paratransit service, and the 305 Beach Connection. Monday, September 3 is the last day of operation for the seasonal Route 305 Beach Connection; however, the other Beach Bus services continue through September 9, serving Rehoboth, Lewes, Georgetown, Dewey, Bethany, Fenwick Island and Ocean City, Maryland. Beginning Monday, September 10, two popular Beach Bus routes will begin year-round service, operating Monday through Saturday; Route 201 between Lewes Park & Ride and Rehoboth, and Route 204 between Lewes Park & Ride and Downtown Lewes. Free parking is available at Lewes Park & Ride; Rehoboth Park & Ride will offer free parking beginning September 10. The other Sussex County services (Routes 206, 212 and 215) will now provide Saturday service year round.
SEPTA’s Wilmington/Newark Line will operate its Sunday schedule on Labor Day. See Schedule here.
DART’s Transportation Store at the Wilmington Station will be closed on Labor Day. Train passengers are encouraged to purchase their train fares in advance. The On-Board fare can also be paid on the train, and a credit for the difference can be received at a Philadelphia SEPTA ticket counter.
