The Commissioners Regular Meeting is scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2019, at 3 p.m., in the City Hall Commissioners Room on the second floor. The meeting agenda includes:

Old Business

A. Consideration and possible vote on a path forward for the City concerning the Grove Park Canal Access Project.

B. Consideration and possible vote to approve the additional borrowing of 58% of $3,000,000 ($1,740,000) from Sussex County to perform needed work for Phase 3 of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Project.

C. Consideration and possible vote on amendments to Sections 74-17, 120-14, 208-4 and 208-5, relating to signs on public property, business licenses, and property maintenance, to convert infractions from criminal to civil offenses.

D. Consideration and possible vote on a resolution to set a public hearing on an ordinance to amend Section 270-69 relating to signs and converting infractions from criminal to civil offenses.

New Business

A. Presentation of an update on recycling in Delaware

B. Consideration and possible vote to approve two (2) new members of Bandstand/Convention Hall/Special Events Committee.

C. Consideration and possible vote to adopt an ordinance to amend Section 227-24 of the City Code related to increasing certain fees for the collection of garbage and refuse.**

D. Set the City Real Estate Tax Rate for the tax year beginning July 1, 2019, and ending June 30, 2020.

E. Submission of Nominating Petitions for Commissioners' approval as to qualifications of candidates for the annual Municipal Election scheduled for August 10, 2019.
