The Commissioners of Rehoboth Beach will hold a Virtual Workshop Meeting** Monday, April 5, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.

    A. Discuss a proposed amendment to the Municipal Code creating Chapter 195 titled Parks and Recreation regarding general rules and regulations and including rules and regulations specific to the Grove Park Canal Dock.

8. New Business

    A.Discuss an ordinance to amend Chapter 92 - Automobiles, Vehicles and Traffic of the Municipal Code by amending Section 92-4 - Enforcement to allow a fee to be collected on unpaid parking tickets when sent to a collection agency

    B. Discuss an ordinance to amend Chapter 64 - Unclaimed Property, Sale of, of the Municipal Code by amending Section 64-1(a) relating to the passage of a period of time before the City may sell unclaimed property.

    C. Discuss an ordinance to amend Chapter 92 - Automobiles, Vehicles and Traffic of the Municipal Code by amending Section 92-69 and 92-73 relating to changing Third Street from a meter zone with two-dollar per hour parking spaces to a permit zone

    D. Presentation on Phase Two signage for City parks designed by Merje.

-  MEETING INSTRUCTIONS  -

**The Board of Commissioners is holding this meeting under the authority issued by Governor John C. Carney through Proclamation No. 17-3292.(1)  The meeting will be conducted using video-conference technology.

Members of the public wishing to speak will be required to pre-register with Ann Womack, City Secretary, at [email protected] at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting.

Citizen comments will be administered by a moderator to ensure everyone has an opportunity to comment.  You will not be able to speak until called upon by the moderator.

Registered members of the public joining the meeting on the phone or by computer will be provided an opportunity to make comments.  Citizen comments regarding Old Business and New Business will be heard during each agenda item after discussion by the Board of Commissioners or at the discretion of the Chair.  Speakers shall state their name and address.  Comments are limited to three (3) minutes or at the discretions of the Chair.  Comments on non-agenda items will be heard under "Citizen Comment".

Public presentations are not allowed without the prior approval of the Mayor.

The City will stream this meeting using the same technology it uses during its chamber broadcast that can be viewed on the City portal at ./Portal/ or YouTube.  This stream will broadcast the meeting, the public will not be able to comment or speak using this broadcast.  This stream will experience a 30-second delay.

The Board of Commissioners meeting materials, including the "packet", are electronically accessible on the City's portal at /Portal/.
