Commissioners discuss wastewater and water rate increases

At the Commissioners Special Meeting on Monday, November 5, 2018, at 1 p.m., a wastewater and water rate study was presented by the Abrahams Group:

This meeting was to discuss the challenges that we have as far as meeting basic maintenance and operation needs, looking at long-term sustainability and what it costs to maintain our infrastructure as well as building a revenues reserve in case we have emergencies. The Abrahams Group put all of the numbers through a model and came up with recommendations for wastewater and water rate increases as far as what those numbers should be and where we should be at.
