The City of Rehoboth Beach municipal election was held Saturday, August 11, 2018, and results are in for the two available commissioner seats. Richard Byrne and Patricia Coluzzi have won. There were 706 voters in Saturday’s election and 307 absentee voters, bringing a grand total of 1,013 voters in Rehoboth Beach. Richard Byrne collected 660 votes, Patricia Coluzzi collected 583 votes, and Gary Glass received 515 votes. The winners will be sworn into office on Friday, September 21, 2018, at the regular commissioners meeting before they begin to serve three-year terms.
