The City of Rehoboth Beach celebrated Arbor Day on Friday, April 27, 2018. Mayor Paul Kuhns read the Arbor Day Proclamation at City Hall where 50 new trees were planted. The city has been named a “Tree City USA” for the 27th year. This designation, awarded by the Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters, was earned for the city’s tree canopy stewardship and continued commitment to a green city.
