Canal Street repairs begin March 6

Work will commence Monday, March 6, 2017, to remove trees that uprooted a stormwater manhole site at the corner of 6th Street and Canal Street. This work will correct the issues with the storm drain system and damage to the canal bank along Canal Street. This work will require the closure of the intersection of 6th Street and Canal Street. No driveways will be blocked during this closure.

This work is expected to take approximately two weeks. The work hours will be Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
