Sealed bids will be received by the City of Rehoboth Beach for the City of Rehoboth Beach Ocean Outfall, City Project #2017-001.
Electronic copies of the contract documents will be received by firms that have been prequalified per the City of Rehoboth REQUEST FOR PREQUALIFICATION NO. 16-001 and hard copies are also available for purchase by pre-qualified firms, for a cost of $125.00, by contacting Sharon Lynn, City Manager by email at [email protected]. Purchased documents will be mailed to the prospective bidder.
The work generally consists of constructing, complete with all equipment and accessories, approximately 6,000 linear feet of ocean outfall pipe and a diffuser assembly in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. A minimum of 3,000 linear feet of the outfall pipeline is proposed for installation via horizontal directional drilling including shore landing and 3,000 linear feet via marine open-cut trench. The proposed staging area is near the north end of the City of Deauville Beach.
