The specific contract goals for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) for this contract are 12%.
Interested Contractors may purchase a copy of the Contract Documents for $50.00 during normal working hours starting June 22, 2020, at the Office of the City Manager, 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971 or electronic copies are available upon request by emailing Kevin Williams at [email protected] at no charge starting June 22, 2020.
The work involves the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform the construction activities for removing and replacing roadway, sidewalk, curb, drainage facilities on Olive Avenue and Maryland Avenue from 3rd Street to 2nd Street and 2nd Street from Rehoboth Avenue to Olive Avenue in the Incorporated City of Rehoboth Beach.
Sealed proposals shall be made on the Bid Proposal Forms and addressed to the City Manager at 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971. The outside of the sealed envelope shall be marked as follows: Proposal for Rehoboth Beach, Lake Avenue Streetscape Improvements, Transportation Enhancement Project, Phase 2. Sealed bids will be received by the City Manager until 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, in the City Manager’s Office 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971. Bids will be opened on same day at same location at approximately 2:01 p.m. Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond are included for this project.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Caucus Room located on the second floor of the Rehoboth Beach City Hall, 219 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach Delaware at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2020. This is not a mandatory pre-bid meeting.
The City of Rehoboth Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to make such award as appears most advantageous to the City.
