Advertisement to Bid - Wayfinding & Signage Program

Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Rehoboth Beach, 229 Rehoboth Avenue, P.O. Box 1163, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971, until 12:00 p.m. on February 4, 2020, for the general construction of the project known as Wayfinding & Signage Program, at which time the Bids will be opened, in the Commissioner’s Caucus Room and publicly and read aloud.

Work includes:  The fabrication and installation of custom parking signs, pedestrian signs, gateway signs, and vehicular signs; signs posts, hardware, and support systems; maps and kiosks and other miscellaneous work.

The Contract Documents may be examined at the following location:  City of Rehoboth Beach, City Hall, 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971.

Hard copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from Beacon Engineering, LLC, phone 302-864-8825, upon payment of One Hundred Dollars ($100) for each non-refundable set.  Checks should be made payable to the Beacon Engineering, LLC.  Electronic copies are available in PDF format at no charge by emailing [email protected].  Bidders must obtain and review Contract Documents to be eligible to submit a Bid. 

The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Rehoboth Beach may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in Bids received, and to accept or reject any Items of any Bid as is most advantageous to the City of Rehoboth Beach.

Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the City of Rehoboth Beach in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount of the Bid.

Interested Bidders are encouraged to attend a Pre-Bid Meeting to be held on January 14, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., at City Hall in the Commissioners Caucus Room, 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971.

The City of Rehoboth Beach hereby notifies all that it will affirmatively insure that in all Contracts it enters into, Minority Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, or national origin in consideration of an Award.
