Polar Bear Plunge Festival

For the 33rd consecutive year, thousands of "polar bears" will brave the chilly water temperatures of the Atlantic Ocean to raise awareness and funds in support of Special Olympics Delaware. The Polar Bear Plunge itself takes place at 1 pm Sunday, February 4, but there are a lot more activities throughout the weekend, including a 5K, restaurant chili contest, sand sculpting and ice sculpting demonstrations, and the Apres Plunge Party.
