Sealed bids will be received by the City of Rehoboth Beach for its FY2020 Street Paving Project. Interested Contractors may obtain an electronic copy of the Contract Documents during normal working hours by contacting Kevin Williams, Director of Public Works, at phone 302-227-6181 ext. 621 or email [email protected]. A copy of the bid documents will be emailed to interested parties.
The work involves furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to make necessary roadway repairs, which include milling, patching, paving, concrete repairs, and incidental associated work.
Sealed bids will be received by the City Manager until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, in the Caucus Room located in the City Hall, at 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Bids will be opened on the same day at approximately 2:01 p.m. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held in the Caucus Room in the City Hall at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for all prospective bidders and will be a pre-requisite for submitting a bid.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows: Sealed Bid - Proposal for FY2020 Street Paving Project, City of Rehoboth Beach.
Each Bidder must deposit with the Bid, security in the amount of 10% of the bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction for Bidders. The City of Rehoboth Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids and make such award as appears most advantageous to the City.
