Lewes Polar Bear Plunge

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1

5:00-8:00 pm Plunge and 5K Run to the Plunge Registration/Check In at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2

11:00-3:00 pm Sand Sculpting Demonstration Local Delawarean, Andy West, will create his polar inspired sand castle on the beach south of the Bandstand and north of Wilmington Avenue.

1:00 pm 5K Run to the Plunge The 5K run and walk starts on Rehoboth Avenue and ends on the Boardwalk. If required due to weather conditions, a road only race will finish on Maryland Avenue.

12:00-3:00 pm Fire & Ice Festivities at the Rehoboth Beach Fire Department, Polar Ice Cream Throwdown Area creameries will feature polar-inspired flavors Hot Wings local restaurants serve up there tastiest and spiciest wings

2:30-5:00 pm Restaurant Chili Contest Up to 15 participating restaurants will offer their signature chili to participants who purchase a ballot to participate.

4:00-7:00 pm Plunge/Registration Check In at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3

10:00-1:00 pm Plunge Registration/Check In in the vicinity of the Bandstand on Rehoboth Avenue

1:00 pm Plunge

1:15-3:00 pm Apres Plunge Part at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center
