DelDOT Route 1 Bridge Rehabilitation Workshop

The Delaware Department of Transportation has scheduled a workshop to discuss the proposed rehabilitation of the Route 1 bridge that spans the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal outside of Rehoboth. The workshop is scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, May 21, in the conference suite of the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, 229 Rehoboth Avenue. The purpose of the workshop is to present details of the proposed rehabilitation and to solicit feedback from the public. Construction is expected to begin Nov. 1, 2019, and be complete by April 30, 2020. The virtual workshop will be available online beginning May 21, 2018, and will be accessible for at least 30 days.
